Sprout Learning Terms of Use
Effective date: October 28, 2026 Last updated: October 28, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Arbi Pro LLC, doing business as VaultPrintCo ("we", "us"), an Arizona limited liability company. They cover the Sprout Learning website and app (the "Service"). Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, which is linked at the bottom of every page. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who can use Sprout Learning
- Grown-ups open the account. You must be at least 18 and a parent or legal guardian to create an account or buy anything.
- Children use Sprout under a grown-up's watch. Child profiles are made by the parent or guardian. We built the kid view for children ages about 4 to 11, with a grown-up nearby.
- Consent first. A child profile cannot be created until the parent confirms the child privacy notice and the confirmation email link. See the Privacy Policy.
- By creating an account you promise that the details you give are true and that you have the right to give consent for each child.
2. Your account
- Keep your sign-in details and your grown-up PIN private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone else has used it.
- One family per account. Please do not share an account with other households.
3. What is free, and what is paid
- The Service has a free level (Week 1 of Level K, no card needed), a paid plan called Sprout Plus, and optional packs (one-time purchases of extra content). What each includes is shown on the plan or pack page before you buy.
- The price, billing period and any tax are shown at checkout before you pay. Sprout Plus is $7.99 per month or $49.99 per year, plus any tax that applies. We may change prices going forward. A change never applies to a purchase you have already made, and it applies to a subscription only from the renewal after we tell you about it.
- We may add, change or retire lessons, games, books or features. If we remove something you bought, we will fix it or refund you fairly.
4. Subscriptions and automatic renewal
- Automatic renewal. Sprout Plus renews automatically at the end of each month or year, based on the plan you chose, until you cancel. Each renewal charges the same price you agreed to (currently $7.99 per month or $49.99 per year, plus any tax) to the payment method you gave at checkout. By subscribing you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge that payment method at each renewal.
- Cancel any time, the same way you signed up. In Settings, choose "Manage or cancel Plus" and follow the steps. You can also cancel by emailing [email protected], and we will cancel it for you. You do not need to call anyone, give a reason, or sit through offers.
- What cancelling does. Cancelling stops the next charge. Access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling does not by itself refund the current period (see section 6).
- Renewal reminders. Where the law requires it, we will email you before a yearly plan renews, and we will tell you before any price change takes effect.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails we may retry and may pause paid features until it is fixed. Your child's progress is kept.
5. Packs and one-time purchases
- A pack unlocks its content for the account that bought it, for personal family use, for as long as we offer the Service. Packs are not subscriptions and do not renew.
- Packs do not include printed books. Book links in the grown-up area go to other stores, which have their own terms.
6. Refunds
- If something is wrong: if a charge was made by mistake, you were charged twice, a pack or Sprout Plus does not work as described, or the wrong item was delivered, email [email protected] within 30 days of the charge. We will fix it, resend it, or refund that charge.
- Change of mind: because digital content is available to you straight away, we do not give change-of-mind refunds on a pack once it is unlocked, or on a Sprout Plus period you have already used. To avoid a charge, cancel before the next renewal (section 4).
- How refunds are paid: refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. Your bank decides how fast they appear, usually within 5 to 10 business days.
- Nothing in these terms limits any refund or other right you have under the law where you live.
7. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or keep your full card number. By paying you agree to Stripe's payment terms for that transaction. You are responsible for any taxes that apply and for keeping your payment details current.
8. Paying with an ESA or other program
Paying with an ESA? Email [email protected] for an itemized invoice. Your program decides whether a purchase can be used. We do not tell you what any program will allow, and we cannot promise that any program will pay. If your program pays us by invoice, access is turned on once we receive the payment.
9. What you may do with our content
- Personal use. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the lessons, stories, songs, games and printable pages for your own family's learning at home. Print the pages you need. Our pages are print-and-go.
- Please don't: copy or resell the content, share your account or downloads with other households, post our pages or art online, remove our names or footers, or scrape or copy the Service.
- Classrooms and groups need a classroom license. Email [email protected].
- The core lessons are secular. Any faith-based book or extra is a separate, optional item that a parent chooses on purpose. It is never part of the child view.
- The Sprout characters, the Reading with Sprout™ name, Sprout Feels™ and Friendship Tree™ belong to us. These terms do not give you the right to use them in any other way.
10. Rules for using the Service
Please do not: break the law; try to get into other accounts or our systems; upload anything harmful; interfere with how the Service works; or try to get around the grown-up check, access limits or payment steps. We may limit or end access if these rules are broken.
11. Recordings and what you put in
Some lessons let a grown-up record a child reading. The recording stays on your own device and is yours to keep or delete. We do not receive it. Please do not put in anything you do not have the right to share, and do not use a child's full name as a nickname.
12. Our content and feedback
We and our licensors own the Service and everything in it. If you send us an idea or feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.
13. Links to other sites
The grown-up area may link to books on Amazon and printables on Teachers Pay Teachers. We do not control those sites or what they sell. Your purchase there is between you and them.
14. What we do and don't promise
- We work hard to make Sprout accurate and safe, but learning is different for every child and we cannot promise any specific result.
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. This does not take away any warranty that the law says cannot be taken away.
- Sprout is a learning support and does not replace a doctor, therapist, evaluation or school services.
15. Limits on our responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows, Arbi Pro LLC and the people who work for it are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, such as lost time, lost data or lost profits. Our total responsibility to you for all claims about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing. None of this limits responsibility for fraud, for intentional wrongdoing, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything the law does not let us limit. Some places do not allow some of these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
16. Ending your account
You can delete your account any time in Settings. If you have a paid plan, cancel it first (section 4). We may suspend or close an account for breaking these terms or to protect the Service, and we will tell you why where we can. When an account is deleted, the child profiles and learning logs are deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that should survive (ownership, limits on responsibility, governing law) continue.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new date at the top, and tell you by email about important changes before they apply. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept it. If you do not accept it, you can cancel and delete your account. If a change affects what we collect from children, we will ask the parent for consent again.
18. Governing law and disputes
- Governing law. These terms and any dispute about the Service are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you live somewhere that gives you consumer protections that cannot be waived, those protections still apply to you.
- Talk to us first. Before starting a legal claim, please email [email protected] with a short description of the problem and what you would like us to do. We will work in good faith to settle it informally, and both of us agree to try for at least 30 days before filing.
- Small claims. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies, in the county where you live or in Maricopa County, Arizona.
- Arbitration (optional, for individual claims). If informal talks do not work, either of us may choose to resolve an individual claim by binding arbitration with the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, which decide who pays fees. The arbitration will be held by video or phone, or in the county where you live. If neither of us chooses arbitration, the claim goes to court. These terms do not waive your right to join a class action in court, and nothing here takes away a right you cannot lawfully give up.
- Courts. For any claim that is not in small claims or arbitration, the state and federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona have jurisdiction, unless the law of the place where you live requires another court.
19. General terms
- If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we do not enforce a part of these terms right away, we have not given it up.
- You may not transfer your account or these terms to someone else. We may transfer ours as part of a sale or merger of the business.
- These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
- If you get Sprout Learning through the Apple App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the Service or for support. Apple and Google can enforce these terms against you where their store rules say so.
